Maintenance Technician

Immediate opening for a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to work in a growing electronics company in Erie. We are looking for a motivated, proactive individual who has good organizational skills and is able to focus on technical tasks, driving them to completion. This individual must have high quality standards and be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities/requirements include, but are not limited to:
 Troubleshooting/maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
 Set-up/perform job modifications
 Install and set-up all new equipment
 Maintain an inventory of spare parts along with ordering replacement tooling and equipment
 Make on-call repairs to keep production running
 Help maintain building and grounds and coordinate outside repairs
 Keep production floor equipment up-to-date with repairs and/or replacements

High school or equivalent diploma is required; two-year technical degree preferred. Working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems; prefer minimal of five years of relevant work experience. Individual must have a high level of mechanical aptitude and be able to read Blueprints and Schematics. Should have good problem solving ability and be a team player. Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.
