Operators/Testing

Immediate openings (one opening on first shift and several openings on second shift from 1:30 – MID M-TH) for operators with an emphasis on testing product to work in a growing electronics company in the Erie Area. This company supports medical and transportation industries. Previous experience in assembling and testing product as well as IPC-610 certification a plus, however company offers a training program for the right candidates. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
1. Assemble Chassis and PCBs (printed circuit boards) by utilizing tools, fixtures, etc. to achieve customer guidelines and acceptable quality standards
2. Test various chassis, cables and PCB assemblies utilizing various pieces of test equipment (i.e. multi-meter, cable scan, power supply, etc.)
3. Provide necessary feedback to production on any quality issues or concerns

Qualifications for an Assembler/Tester include having basic math skills and the ability to work well with your hands. One to two years of experience in the field of electronics is preferred, however those who are mechanically and technically inclined will be considered. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is customer-focused with high quality standards. Must have good vision and be able to enjoy repetitious operations.
