1st Shift Test Technician

Immediate opening for an experienced test technician to work in a growing electronics company in Erie. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to focus on detailed tasks, driving them to completion. This individual must have high quality standards and be able to communicate with technical staff inside the plant as well as with the customer teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 Test, analyze and interpret test data to troubleshoot cables, PCB’s, etc. by adjusting, calibrating, and aligning circuitry and components and record results
 Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings and wire diagrams related to the troubleshooting and operation of production unit such as cables and printed circuit boards
 Must also be able to understand, use, and construct graphs and reports
 Advanced troubleshooting and repair (to the component level)
 Coordinate with engineers and test supervisor in solving issues regarding any test fixtures or components
 Must be able to use various measuring test equipment and tools utilization of such as: DVM, DMM, Oscilloscope, RF equipment, as well as variety of test equipment

High school or equivalent diploma and two year technical/electronics degree or equivalent electronics experience is required. Must be detailed oriented with excellent follow-up and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize. Must have good problem solving ability and be a team player/have ability to work well with all levels of the organization. Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision. Excellent eyesight is a must and must be able to differentiate between colors. Should have very steady hands, and good hand-eye coordination is required.
