Recognizing Superior Solutions in Technology and Business

START-IT Magazine names AccuSpec Electronics Services as 2008 Technology and Business Award Winner.
On June 24th, 2008, AccuSpec Electronics Services along with its service provider Infor were selected by START-IT Magazine to receive the Technology and Business Award in the Electronic Equipment Division at the 11th Annual T&B Awards Ceremony. The T&B Awards recognize manufacturers that have made their businesses succeed through innovation. The awards are open to any end-user manufacturing company that has been able to use technology to overcome a challenge or solve a critical business issue.
AccuSpec used Infor’s ERP Syteline to improve on-time delivery to 94% and reduce their overall return rate by 85%. Additionally, AccuSpec can perform what-if scenarios for customers on potential part issues within seconds on future orders. Overall, this has improved productivity by over 50% since implementing Syteline.
“The manufacturers being honored here tonight truly define ‘excellence in manufacturing,’ said Peggy Smedley, editorial director at START-IT. “It is important to recognize these success stories and we want to congratulate all of tonight’s winners on their superior achievements.”
