AccuSpec Electronics, LLC. Names New President
AccuSpec Electronics, LLC, a world-class Electronic Manufacturing Services company, announced today that Michael Evans, a veteran financial and supply chain manager, has been named its President, effective immediately.
Prior to becoming President, Mr. Evans led the global supply chain efforts of another Erie company, FMC Technologies. During his tenure there, he had hands-on responsibilities for leading global supply chain operations, including contractual and sales activities.
In addition to his successes at FMC Technologies, Mr. Evans previously served in management and/or financial positions for General Electric Company, United States Steel Corporation, and KPMG. A native of Conway, Pennsylvania, he is a U.S. Army veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne in Iraq during the First Gulf War in the early 1990s. Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz School of Business. He and his family reside in Erie.
Mr. Evans will be responsible for the management and leadership of AccuSpec Electronics, and will report directly to the company’s Board of Managers.

AccuSpec Electronics also announced that former President Ernie Carlson who had led the recruitment of Mr. Evans will remain with the Company and will continue to be a member of the Board of Managers. Mr. Carlson, a founder of the Company and an important, contributing factor to AccuSpec’s successes, will assist in the strategic growth and business development initiatives.
